I think it was in early May of 1970 that Nixon had his discussion about football, etc. at the Lincoln Memorial...."You probably think we're a bunch of bums." or something on that order.
I was an organizer for the Student Mobilization Committee at Michigan State University from the fall of 1970 until the end of the war.
