James A. Garrison

I participated in a number of the actions you mention including the November 15, 1969 march in Washington. It was very cold and the wind went right through us.

I participated in the national student strike against the war in May of 1970 while a student at the State University of New York College at New Paltz. I think it was in early May of 1970 that Nixon had his discussion about football, etc. at the Lincoln Memorial...."You probably think we're a bunch of bums." or something on that order.

I was an organizer for the Student Mobilization Committee at Michigan State University from the fall of 1970 until the end of the war.
